Hi, I'm Julie.
Welcome to "Be Healthy, Be Happy"! This is where I teach you how to be healthy so you can feel happy!

I am the founder of BhealthyBhappy.ca, where I provide simple nutrition solutions to support happy families because I believe healthy kids are happy kids!
​
I work under the premise that if you want to feel happier, calmer, and fully alive, you need to first look at your health and what you are eating every single day because food is your fuel to happiness.
​
In addition to being a holistic nutritionist, I am also a brain health coach who teaches you that the organ of your happiness is your brain, and it has very specific nutritional needs. If you brain works right, you work right! You are better at everything you do: you make better decisions, you are more successful at work, at school, as well as in your relationships.

My passions are nutrition and your happiness. I love to teach people how food impacts their mental wellness. I don’t just talk about food but also how our environment and our lifestyle choices directly influence our happiness and every cell in our body!

When I talk about our environment I mean the choices we make every single day when it comes to the level of movement we commit to, the quality of our sleep, our stress level, the food we eat, the thoughts we nurture, our social connections and our spiritual life.
​
We are whole beings, with a body, mind and spirit. We need to take into consideration all three if we truly want to reach our full potential and feel joy.
However, this is not always an easy journey, especially if we are parents and we are caring for our family. That’s why a good part of the work I do is help families create SIMPLE healthy habits. It’s all about starting small and keeping it simple so we can find a way to make it fit in our lives.

I am always looking for simple nutrition solutions for your family because I know life gets busy!!!
Oh did I forget to mention that I am also a mother of three beautiful AND very intense children?
I’ve got lots of experience dealing with emotions!!! However, I now know that emotions don’t just happen. Your emotions are largely connected to your brain health.
That’s right! The health of your brain will determine how you react to life’s situations and circumstances. It also determines your resiliency in life.
